The Mini Monkey Mesh carrier is exceptionally lightweight, soft and very very easy to use - thanks to magnetic buckles and two way straps. It is one of my absolute top picks for a light weight summer option. Alongside and prehaps second only to the Kahu Baby Carrier. While the Kahu Baby carrier will last baby a little longer thanks to a slightly bigger panel, the Mini Monkey is better suited to a newborn because it goes down smaller and you can attach the strap to the waistband to prevent unwanted pressure on little ones back.
