- Trageschule Certified Babywearing Consultant - I have completed all 3 stages of the Trageschule qualification, completing the Foundation Level in April 2015, Advanced Level in August 2015 and the Certification level in October 2016.

I am a member of BABI (British Association of Babywearing Instructors) and hold current professional insurance with BGI and DBS certificate. I am continually working to keep my skills and knowledge up to date, and attending CPD with Slingababy annually and at one off events such as the European Babywearing Conference 2015, Carry On London 2016, Northern Sling Exhibition 2017 and the Wrap Show 2019.
I have previously freelanced for Baba Me training John Lewis staff on LILLEbaby carriers and I have occasionally attend baby shows on behalf of Cheeky Rascals (Izmi and Manduca). Up until 2021 I would be found on alternate Saturday's in Wear My Baby's excellent South West London boutique. This is all work I am paid for, and do on an adhoc basis. I have also done product testing and worked in an advisory capacity for a number of different manufactures bringing new products to market. My library and consultancy sessions are and will always remain completely independent of these or any other carrier brand and I make recommendations based only on what I believe will be the best carrier for you personally.

Before motherhood I gained a PhD in Immunology and worked as a research scientist looking at the role of the immune system and inflammation in chronic kidney disease. My scientific background gives me an evidence based approach to babywearing and all things baby in general!
