Mountain Buggy Juno Review

I really wanted to like this carrier. There are several lovely features to like about it... sleek simple design that appeals to men and women equally and looks great on a mannequin; magnetic chest strap which makes this strap much easier to do up and to release than chest straps on other similar carriers; andContinueContinue reading "Mountain Buggy Juno Review"

Stretchies! Aren't they all the same? (Updated)

I love stretchy wraps for the newborn period.  Despite owning slings of all types and styles the humble stretchy wrap is still my go to for my newborn.  But there are so many brands and at first look they all look the same - just a long piece of stretchy material! But there are differences...ContinueContinue reading "Stretchies! Aren't they all the same? (Updated)"

Ergo Aura Wrap Review

Made from fibres extracted from Eucalyptus and Acacia, the Aura wrap is beautifully soft and one of the lightest wraps on the market. Despite being ever so light, thin and soft the Aura is deceptively strong!  So strong in fact, it has rapidly become one of my 1 year old daughter's favourite places to sleep. ContinueContinue reading "Ergo Aura Wrap Review"

Lifft Stretchy Wrap Review

This is fast becoming a favourite.  Released in December last year, the Lifft Stretchy is pretty new to the market and I first tried one at the Northern Sling Exhibition earlier this year.  As I already had 7 different brands of stretchy wraps in the library, a new stretchy wrap definitely wasn't on my shoppingContinueContinue reading "Lifft Stretchy Wrap Review"

My favourite Newborn carriers

Today Rachel turns 3 months old, marking the end of the 4th trimester.  As she leaves the newborn period behind, these were my favourite carriers to use with her during her newborn phase; 1. Hana Baby stretchy wrap - I just love stretchy wraps for those early days.  Super soft, easy to tie, easy to popContinueContinue reading "My favourite Newborn carriers"

Manduca First Review

We bought our Manduca 3.5 years ago when our son was 5 months old, and used it practically everyday for the next 2.5 years until he turned 3. Its been to 8 countries with us, on tubes, trains, buses, cable cars and ferries, through all weather conditions and been used by multiple members of ourContinueContinue reading "Manduca First Review"
