This carrier is one of the few carriers that geniunely will fit both a newborn and a 1 year old well!  This rare in carriers and comes from the way this carrier adjusts and also the fact that the shoulder straps can be fastened to the waistband or the panel.  While the panel fastening works best for older babies, for younger babies this can put too much pressure on their backs and this option to fasten at the waistband means it is possible to get a really great fit even for a true newborn.
