The Mamaruga Zen Sling is a sumptuously  soft, super adjustable, lightweight carrier.  It combines the soft cozy feeling of a wrap with the intuitive practicality of a buckle carrier.  Whilst also being one of the very few carriers that genuinely works well newborn to toddler - gently cocooning baby as newborn while growing incrementally to continue to support little one all the way into toddlerhood.  Rent it to see it if fits you.

Description

Key Features

    • Weight tested from 3 kg (6.6 lb) to 20 kg (44 lb)
    • Realistically works from within a couple of weeks after birth through to around 18 months to 2 years of age.  The carrier will often continue to fit beyond 2 year but the stretchy material means that 18 months to 2 years is often more realistic in terms of parent comfort.
    • Made from ultra soft Jersey fabric - 96% cotton, 4% lycra.
    • Offers 3 carrying postions (front inwards and hip and back).
    • Panel adjusts very simply in both width and height allowing it to grow incrementally with your baby.
    • Unique top and bottom adjusters on the panel means that it is possible to get a really fitted shape and wonderful M shape or spread squat sitting position.  This is genuinely one of the best carriers on the market in terms of adjustability and fit for baby as they grow.
    • Lightly padded supportive waist belt is combined with lightly padded shoulder straps that can also spread to give more support.  Straps are designed to be worn crossed over parents back when wearing baby on your front.
    • Fits a wide range of parent shapes and sizes.  This is a carrier that works particularly well for very petite parents as its sizes down very small.  The soft fabric and long adjustable straps also fit parents of almost all shapes and sizes.  However, it is not my top pick for larger plus sized parents.  I would say this is a carrier that works realistically UK womens size 6 through to size 20, or mens XXS to XL.
    • Features integrated sleep hood for supporting baby's head while they sleep
    • Very similar to the Mamaruga Zebulo, but while the Zebulo is made from woven cotton, the Zen is made from ultra soft Jersey material.  Making the Zen my top pick for those with newborns or those that really love the feel of soft jersey and are looking for a very soft, slightly stretchy carrier.  But for those with slightly older babies looking for something that will last longer, or something that is cooler then I'd recommend the Zebulo instead.

Rental information

Rent for 2, 4 or 12 weeks. Date selected will be the date the carrier will be posted for and should arrive on or near that date. In case of post taking a little longer, just let us know and your full 2, 4 or 12 week hire will be honoured from the date the carrier arrived with you. Return date is the date you post back - you do not need to post early to arrive back by that date. If you wish to collect in person from my home (SW14 7HU), please select the date you wish to collect on, and then select local collection at check out. If the date you'd like to collect on isn't showing, please get in touch as it will likely be possible to arrange a short notice collection.

During your hire if you have any questions or worries please do get in touch. If you'd like to send a photo or two for a quick fit check please do!

Please note that slings and carriers are extremely safe when used properly, however misuse can cause injury to yourself or your child. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are using the sling correctly and that you and your child are safe at all times when using the sling. If you are at all worried or concerned at all please do get in touch and ask for help. Sheen Slings cannot be held responsible for any accident that results in injury or death whilst the sling is in your care.

You remain responsible for the sling or carrier for the duration of your hire. Loss or damaged will be charged at cost of replacement so please look after the carrier and treat it as you would something of your own. That said, normal wear and tear is expected so please do feel able to use it fully and there is no need to wash before sending it back as I rewash everything on return.

If you need to wash, this carrier can be machine washed at 30 degrees with a liquid detergent, and then left to dry overnight. However, in most cases spot cleaning with a soft damp cloth works wonders and saves you needing to wash the whole carrier.
